This Privacy Policy describes how RidesBro (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, processes, stores, manages, protects, discloses, and otherwise handles information obtained from users (“user”, “you”, “your”) of the RidesBro website, platform, services, systems, and related components (collectively, the “Platform”), and by accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise using the Platform in any manner whatsoever, whether directly or indirectly, whether intentionally or unintentionally, whether as a registered user or otherwise, you hereby acknowledge, represent, warrant, and agree that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection, use, processing, storage, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy in its entirety, without limitation, qualification, reservation, exception, modification, or condition, and if you do not agree to this Privacy Policy you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform and refrain from any further access or interaction; we may collect, receive, obtain, generate, infer, or otherwise acquire personal information and non-personal information from you in a variety of ways, including but not limited to information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Platform, information inferred from your interactions, and information collected automatically through technical means, and such information may include, without limitation, your email address, username, display name, account credentials including encrypted or hashed passwords, ride-related information such as locations, routes, dates, times, preferences, and descriptions, messages and communications exchanged between users, and technical information such as device type, browser type, IP address, session identifiers, usage patterns, interaction data, and general activity logs; we may use such information for a wide range of purposes including but not limited to creating, maintaining, managing, and authenticating user accounts, enabling login and access functionality, facilitating communication between users, displaying and organizing ride listings and related information, providing customer support, sending transactional and service-related communications including but not limited to verification emails, password reset messages, and system notifications, improving, optimizing, developing, and enhancing the Platform, ensuring the security, integrity, performance, and stability of the Platform, preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activity, analyzing usage patterns and trends, and fulfilling any other operational, functional, or administrative purpose necessary for the operation of the Platform; we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes and do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or cross-platform tracking, and any use of your information is limited to the purposes described herein or as otherwise permitted by applicable law; we may engage third-party service providers to assist in the operation of the Platform including but not limited to email delivery services used to send account-related communications such as verification emails and password reset messages, and such service providers may process limited personal information solely for the purpose of providing their services to us and are required to handle such information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and contractual obligations; your information is stored using database systems, infrastructure, and hosting environments that implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, however you acknowledge and agree that no method of transmission over the internet, no method of electronic storage, and no system of data protection is completely secure, infallible, or immune from risk, and therefore we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security, confidentiality, or protection of your information under all circumstances; the Platform may allow you to delete your account and associated information, and upon such deletion we may remove certain personal information from active systems, however residual copies may remain in backup systems, logs, archives, or where retention is required for legitimate business purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements, and we shall not be responsible for information that you have shared with other users, including messages or content, which may remain accessible to those users even after account deletion; we do not knowingly collect personal information in violation of applicable laws, however the Platform may be accessible to a broad audience and does not strictly enforce age restrictions, and users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform complies with applicable legal requirements in their jurisdiction, and if we become aware of any collection or processing of information that violates applicable law we reserve the right to delete, restrict, or otherwise handle such information as deemed appropriate; we may disclose your information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, protect our rights, property, or safety, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others; the Platform may contain links to external websites or services that are not owned, operated, or controlled by RidesBro, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, content, or security of such third-party services and you access them at your own risk; we reserve the right to update, modify, amend, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time, and such changes shall be effective immediately upon posting, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of such changes regardless of whether you have reviewed them; this Privacy Policy shall be governed by applicable laws and if any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect; by using the Platform you acknowledge, represent, and agree that you have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Policy in full and without limitation and that such acceptance is a condition of your use of the Platform. This Privacy Policy further applies to information that is submitted, generated, inferred, logged, stored, routed, cached, archived, or otherwise associated with your interaction with the Platform, whether temporary or persistent, and you acknowledge that operational, technical, diagnostic, security, and administrative data may be created as a natural consequence of your use of the Platform and may be used by RidesBro for legitimate purposes including but not limited to troubleshooting, fraud prevention, abuse detection, service quality analysis, account protection, support response, feature development, compatibility review, and preservation of system integrity, and you agree that such use is reasonably related to the operation of the Platform; you further acknowledge that communications sent through or in relation to the Platform, including but not limited to account verification messages, password reset emails, login-related notices, service messages, safety notices, moderation notices, and other transactional communications, may necessarily involve the processing, transmission, and storage of personal data by us and by service providers acting on our behalf, and you agree that such processing is an essential part of making the Platform available and functional; you acknowledge that while we seek to limit access to information to what is reasonably necessary, information may be accessed, processed, stored, or reviewed by authorized personnel, systems, contractors, infrastructure providers, or service providers for operational, maintenance, support, compliance, security, anti-abuse, anti-fraud, or legal purposes, and that such access shall not be deemed a breach of this Privacy Policy where undertaken in good faith for legitimate platform-related reasons; you agree that retention periods for different categories of information may vary depending on technical, legal, operational, security, evidentiary, backup, archival, or business needs, and that deletion from active display or active account views does not necessarily mean immediate deletion from all systems, backups, snapshots, caches, logs, or archives, and that some data may persist for a reasonable or legally required period even after an account is deleted, disabled, deactivated, or no longer actively used; you further acknowledge that messages, listings, and other content that you have shared with other users may remain visible, accessible, retained, copied, referenced, quoted, or stored by those users or their devices after deletion or account closure and that RidesBro cannot control, retrieve, or erase copies that are outside its systems or control, and you agree that RidesBro shall not be responsible for such user-retained information; you understand and agree that no platform, website, application, service provider, network, database, transmission channel, storage method, or security framework can guarantee absolute privacy or absolute security, and that your use of the Platform necessarily involves some degree of risk of unauthorized access, interception, misuse, alteration, deletion, or exposure despite reasonable safeguards, and by continuing to use the Platform you knowingly accept such residual risk to the fullest extent permitted by law; you also acknowledge that the Platform may depend on third-party infrastructure, hosting providers, email systems, authentication tools, content delivery methods, libraries, frameworks, browsers, devices, operating systems, APIs, or other technologies and that data processed through or with such dependencies may be subject to temporary copying, transmission, storage, routing, or processing outside the direct control of RidesBro, and while we seek to choose services reasonably appropriate for platform operations we do not and cannot guarantee the uninterrupted performance, permanent availability, or infallible security of such third-party components; by continuing to use the Platform after any update, amendment, supplement, replacement, clarification, or modification of this Privacy Policy, you confirm renewed acceptance of the policy as then posted, and if at any time you do not agree your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
